Seems the news is full of Motorola recently.
Not only are they rumoured to be the apple of Huawei’s eye, they’re also having another crack at reviving their once iconic Razr brand.
The Razr HD, as the new handset is now known (It used to be called the Droid Fighter until quite recently, it seems) is a rather exciting device, all in all – a true HD device that will run Ice Cream Sandwich right out of the box, if a few leaked EXIF files are to believed.
Motorola has really been trying to bring the Razr brand back to life recently, with the launch of the rebooted Razr, as well as the Razr Maxx, which achieved miracles by being a 4G phone with a respectable battery life.
Many readers will remember the classic, super thin Razr device that was hugely popular about five or six years ago:- the pink version of the device was a “must have” handset one Christmas, and was absolutely impossible to get hold of at one point.
However, the smartphone revolution seemed to leave Motorola behind somewhat:- while they were a huge player in the industry at one time, Motorola were bought by Google in 2010, and the search engine monster have reportedly struggled to know what to do with the phone company.
