Attn Kevin Mountford.
I may have posted my original request in the wrong part of the site, if so I apologise. This is the text posted on the Money - Savings Message Board last week.
(Post starts)
Having recently opened a Ulster Bank e-Savings Plus Account to gain their attractive interest rates, after logging off their internet site, I was ...

I hope you didn't actually "withdraw" the money from last year's ISA! If so you will have lost last year's allowance and will ony be allowed to invest this year's £3600
What you should always do if you want to move it from one ISA provider to another, is to open an account with the new provider and then request ...

Attn Kevin Mountford.
Having recently opened a Ulster Bank e-Savings Plus Account to gain their attractive interest rates, after logging off their internet site, I was directed to their Home Page which advertised an interest rate of 4% AER (including an introductory bonus of 1.75% for 12 months) on their Cash ISA for Transferring in over ...

I agree with "the Doc", I have had good experiences with ICICI, they are easy to deal with on-line, they have a secure email connection (when logged on) to which they reply within 24 hours, the staff are polite if you have to call them (naturally they're based in India, but you call a UK number) but my phone experience has always ...

Can you please advise the details of this bonus. If it's better than 3.8%AER, I would like to receive it.
Thanks a lot
John

Attn Kevin Mountford.
Having just read your article on investing early in the tax year (which I always do), I wonder whether the following has already come to you and your reader's attention?
In late November 2008, I transferred all my existing Cash ISAs to Natwest (approx £34,000) and gained a 12 month bonus of 1.76% above their ...

Sybiosis, hi there.
Thanks for your advice.
Just to update you on my progress with getting my ex Icesave ISA into Halifax at their then current 12 months fixed rate of 5.75%.
I applied on line and got confirmation that the account was open (but empty) at 5.75% on 21/11/08.
Having been told that they would not accept the deposit without the ...

As a completely different question, but related, can anyone put their ex-ICESAVE ISAs anywhere?
In otherwords, has anyone received their Tax Certificate to allow them to reinvest?
Alternatively, has anyone found a new ISA provider who will take the funds IN ADVANCE of receiving the Certificate?
These questions are very important to allow ...
