Do most people really spend nearly £400 on christmas presents? Seems rather a lot, but maybe if you have lots of kids or something...... Each to their own, obviously, but to me the important things about christmas are mistletoe, booze and grub.

apparently there is a shop in Bury St Edmunds called Walkabout that has imported Uggs in a variety of colours and styles - or something. Just going on what my wife was telling a friend the other day, but remembered it as BSE seems an odd place for Ugg imports. If you don't live locally, mind, they could have worn out by the time you get home!

It's all generally great, but as pinkamy said be very wary about electrical stuff. Otherwise, go for it. There are some advantages, such as the secondhand army boots I'm wearing having been broken in by someone else's poor feet, but there will be the occasional duff item, especially if you buy through the internet.
