Actually,
There is a statute of limitation on energy bills. I know this because I worked in the complaints department for Scottish Power. I can'te remember, i think it's something like 2 years, but best to contact Consumer Focus.

Hi,
There's several things that could be happening here. I don't see how they could state your daily reads seemed accurate when they've increased from 22kw/h to 60kw/h. It could be a fault outside of the meter. Either that or the meter is running "fast", which means that while the meter is running correctly, it's ...

Hi,
Unfortunately this is one of those situations where, as frustrating and annoying as it is, there is nothing you can do. You can complain but you're unlikely to get anywhere, as you had not signed on the dotted line. Had the agreement been signed by both parties already then the bank would have been subject to a binding agreement under UK ...

There's definitely a time limit, but if you had the payments set up via direct debit then usually having your bank delete that DD from your account is enough to stop them taking money (i'm not condoning this in a situation where you actually have a bill to pay). However companies have been known to illegally re-set DDs back up on ...

But definitely contact Consumer Focus.

Hi,
This is a case where really both companies are at fault, although Npower believe it or not are less at fault!
Basically British Gas should have sent Npower change of supplier details on your behalf, this is something that is legally required so NPower really can't do anything about changing you over. However NPower should also have been ...

Hi there,
As far as i'm aware, tracker mortgages are one of the few products where you will most definitely get the rate cut, as otherwise the bank would be in breach of it's terms and conditions for your particular mortgage.

"If you read your quote back, you did exactly that"
It's painfully obvious you didn't take your own advice here. I wasn't suggesting you weren't allowed to express your opinion, and i didn't say you had less rights than me. And i didn't tell you to stop responding, i suggested that if you didn't want to help ...

Of course you're allowed to express an opinion, i never suggested otherwise.
Anyway i'm not in the business of having arguments via the internet, so this is going to be my last post on the matter.
