Wow - great to see so many contributions. Will be with you in spirit at 6 (only because I'll still be at work) but in person around 8pm to crack open the wine.....I read the article and it made sombre reading.... I also remember that Slime ball Chief Exec and his interview - it would be nice to have him held to account....
thanks again to ...

Hi Swifts and Acecard
I know exactly what you mean about the sinking feeling - we thought we had lost the best part of 49k and thats a lot of hard earned cash of anybody's money......I was a bit later than most and only realised that I couldn't get at our money until I heard some news on Radio 5 live and by then I felt physically sick.. ...

Hi Everyone - don't have to much to say but I do curiously get drawn from time to time to this forum - I suppose its because it was such a great support network when we were all going through the trials and tribulations of the Icesave saga....It is nice to still see the odd post and I also read about the Icelandic's finally agreeing to pay ...

Di: I agree with you chezu2. I have just received a letter from A&L whose interest rate on their e saver account is 0.25%!! I am going to extend my house with my money in the hope that I will get a better return in the long term.
Hope baby arrives soon and safely grand-children are such a joy.
I agree with the extending of the house - we ...

dan66: Happy New Year Everyone!
Just been on the phone to Natwest as I paid my ISA funds by cheque directly to them on 17th December and the cash is still not showing up in my ISA account!
They seem useless on the phone at their callcentre, so I'm off to the branch tomorrow to complain about the time it's taking for them to present this ...

iceisa: swifts: microlighter: iceisa: ddlo: A bit late but, Happy New Year to everyone. Just got back from a break.
Not openned an ISA yet. Tempted to open one with NatWest but something in the back of my mind tells me it's risky. They seem desperate to me, reminds me of IceSave. Guess i'm a bit paranoid after all that has happened.
