The Icelandic govenrment are supposed to cover UK depositers in Icesave upto c.£16k but I believe that this does not extend to the offshore subsidiary. The UK protection plan does not apply to these deposits. Hopefully, the company will continue operations as a going concern and Guernsey residents should get some protection from the States ...

I don't think there is much anyone can do. Just a case of waiting for the administrator to write to us all with a plan. Hopefully they will be able to salvage our deposits.
