  • Re: Underhand practices of Scottish Widows Bank-Beware!!

Thanks once again. Someone else said that about telling them so they'll be polite. We'll have to agree to differ on that - I want them to be 'natural' so they can drop themselves in it if that is their attitude. Otherwise my thought is you tell them, they're nice for the record then forget all about doing anything.

  • Re: Cheque back through Carphone Warehouse

Dear All There is a general feeling among unhappy CASHBACK users that they wil never use it again and we will go back to those lovely big reputable networks direct. Without the networks' blessings how could CASHBACK possibly have come into being? Networks deserve flak as well. They shouldn't be seen as safe havens from the naughty CASHBACK boys ...

  • Re: no, no claims -because i,ve been driving company cars for ten years?

Dear Kevin I hadn't had a car insurance policy for ten years and I got a six year no claims discount! Yes well true but all was not what it seemed ALTHOUGH this broker was the best for me. You have to shop around including traditional brokers outside the internet. I got lucky. The six year ncd? Suffice it to say if I had have moved companies ...

  • Re: Education Loan

Dear jacqueline I assume you have done a Google search for say ''loans for school fees''. I think you are indicating that the loan required is of a nature that it may need to be secured rather than unsecured. Obviously moneysupermarket's calculator will throw up the most attractive loans for you. ADVICE I have found that my clearing bank can ...

  • Re: Vinegar in the home.

Dear Jualsy You can also use vinegar and olive oil as the base for a salad dressing. I frequently think of vinegar and Jif lemon in the same breath. I have just run out of vinegar but I have a fresh lemon. Can I use this for cleaning purposes?

  • Re: TALKTALK SECURITY ISSUES/CONCERNS

Dear peradua First I did not sit on my hands. Second this site strikes me as odd and difficult to navigate and I couldn't find anything of value on talktalk using various search methods. I have struggled through other information you have provided and been given the distinct impression by those that know better than me that talktalk is quite ...

  • Re: Unlawful issue of Person Loan (??)

Dear mtawn I don't think the FSA will be any use to you unless you know your situation falls within its remit. Have you read the detailed terms and conditions pertaining to your situation? The CAB will provide you with 30 mins of legal advice. Regards Fedora

  • Re: Payment Protection Insurance, PPI

Dear mail4moy ''...there's a claws in the contract...'' How are you ''fighting my case in a no win no fee Law suit...''? Is the contract legal or illegal? How have you managed to interest a lawyer in a case where, on the face of it, the sum involved is likely to be modest? I am very keen to know because what you may have achieved would 'make my ...
