• Re: Thinking of changing supplier

It's not a coincidence that the people who take full responsibility for their energybills, report having little if any problems. The more involved you get, the less trouble you can be caused. I wouldn't say always best to go dual fuel but more often than not it is. When you do your comparisson look up electricity only, gas only and then ...

  • Re: EDF increase prices by 22% for gas and 17% for electricity

Well if you call a £40million loss (commerical and consumer) relatively fixed then i'd agree but that's an awful lot of money that could have gone to good use.... I've no doubt the link between gas and oil is artificial or at least unfavourable, but while it is linked in such a way there is a huge cost to the supplier. ...

  • Re: WORST EVER ENERGY SUPPLIER IN THE UK?

RED ARMY it seems with every post the division of responsibility changes. First you were completely blamesless and then you were 20% responsible and in your last outing 30% responsible? I'm sorry but when you facts keep changing you your lose credibility rather quickly. I would continue to offer advice, suggestions and insight but it has ...

  • Re: atlantic energy prices incorrect in your summary

It is also quite likely that the supplier in question is at fault, as moneysupermarket is only bale to list tarffs for comparrison if the supplier provides details of the tariff's they offer. If the supplier chooses not to provide some tariffs for comparison then moneysupermarket will be left will little choice but to use what remaining ...

There's a good number of reason's why I won't reveal which supplier I work for, the biggest of which RED ARMY seems to prove with everyone of his recent posts. If i were to reveal who I worked for, and then offered advice in favour of that supplier I am sure i would be bomabrded with comments such as "you would say ...

  • Re: Massive Electricity Bill from E-On

1 - Did you take any readings on any of the meters yourself prior to any exchange? If you did then you would know if the readings shown fall in line with what you had taken. If the readings shown on the bill are labelled something along the lines of "read by us" then the readings used have been taken by meter readers or metering ...

  • Re: Is this possible? (regarding refund from supplier following switch)

Yes it is possible but i would check that the final meter readings used are accuarate. As the last thing you want is to get hte money back and spend it -only to find out there's a mistake.

  • Re: Can my Landlord change meters from direct debit to pay as you go?

Your Landlord does not own the meter's and therefore any contract he has in palce with any party regarding these meters is quite literally now woth the paper its written on. Additionally so long as you are paying the energy bills - your landlord does not have a say in what meters you have. The only parties that do are your supplier and of ...

  • Re: WORST EVER ENERGY SUPPLIER IN THE UK?

Didn't you already state that they are reviewed on a 12 month basis? So long as they keep doing this then your supplier is maintaining their repsonsibility with regards to your direct debit. As i said before if you don't think the figures are right ask for a review. You may beleive your supplier is at fault in this regard, IF they are you ...

  • Re: Introduce yourselves!!

Hi gang, What is your name (if you are willing to reveal it)? Scott How did you choose your nickname (if you are using one)? I'm a bit of an RPG/MMORPG freak in my spare time and it was a name from a game i palyed that i later used for a variety of persona's in different games. How long have you been posting on these forums? ...
