where i am (scotland) my girl applied for a house when she was pregnant but the council wouldnt give her a house till she had our baby. then i applied to live with her and they gave har a bigger house to accomodate the bigger housing needs. we werent scaming it just the way it was and we got a new house :) xx

go into the money section from the menu above. do an advanced search for loans. fill in all your details including defaults etc and it will tell you who your best chances are with getting a loan. ive no idea about which companies are best but this should help you out.

i started in an iva for debts of 15K but after a few months i stopped paying into because i had went off the track for a bit. the iva company made me bankrupt after about 3-4ish mths (i think) i then was insolvent for 3 years and then debt free. i know it doesnt answer your question but i thought id share my experience....

after my bankruptcy i got my first bank account with halifax in january 08. ive also got a savings account with them that i just started last week so im hoping this goes in my favour.

capital say that if you pay in full, on time and never go over your limit then they'll increase your limit. ive just paid my third so hopefully i'll get an increase. what i was doing with capital one, so that they could earn money from me, was i was taking a tenner from the cash machine so that they would earn money that way. hopefully ...

hi folks tried the halifax (my bank) for a savings account and was accepted straight away. dont know what i was worrying about!

terrible!!! in north ayrshire we're up to £1.26/litre of diesel and i dont think its in any danger of coming down anytime soon. no wonder there striking with the amount of profit that the oil companies make. think it'll probably be sorted out though.
