I get the issue and here here to your comments. Banks have been acting fraudulently for years. We (the little people) have accepted it as we all thought a bank was beyond rebuff, but now we know different. They have been comitting what can only be discribed as fraudulent accounting practices but unfortunately a bank under statute law can never be ...

You are missing the point Linford, If it said in the terms and conditions across all banks ''if you go overdrawn we will shoot you '' and you had a situation where you had a client who did not pay you in time so you were unable to meet your commitments as a result would you hold your hands up and say, well it was in the terms and conditions and ...

Hi Linford,
I can only hazzard a guess that they didn't expect to ever be challenged over them. A make hay whilst the sun shines approach.
If it weren't for Stephen Hone the Law Student who first challenged them publicising his victory, they would probably still be getting away with it now.

Just folow the instructions on penaltycharges.co.uk. Everything you need is there. You go through the court not the Ombudsman to claim your charges. As i have said before totally free and non profit making.

What a holier than thou atitude you have jinnie-boy. The fact is the charges are illegal and bordering on fraud by the banks. This is fact not fiction. They are the only organisations with a direct ability to pinch whatever they like directly from your account and that is what they have been doing for years. They would not be settling everry ...

Sorry but linford you couldn't be more wrong
Yes It is totally possible to get all your bank charges back. I moderate on Penaltycharges.co.uk which was set up by Stephen Hone, the Law Student who first challenged Abbey over his charges. The site is totally free and no non profit making so hope posting about it here is OK. It has all the letters ...

I also had Sky, It didn't work. No ebay access, no MSM, No email for most of the time, no answers from Sky about when it would be solved. I gave up and went back to BT.
I agree it may end up being a good alternative, but my experience suggests they are a very long way from it yet.
