I contacted the mortgage company today who had said that they should have sent a letter informing us it is a suspended order, but also received court papers today so not sure what to do. Also concerned that I speak to a different person each time and they are not logging things on the system!

Thanks for the information, I am quite surprised how harsh they have been, when I know other people who have 5/6 months arrears and are not at this stage.

Yes due to my credit rating and also I need to have a salary paid in, Ive just tried Yorkshire Bank and they have not appointments for two weeks!! Nightmare!

I looked at this but with limited income £12 per month and £25 set up fee is quite alot! Is there any reason none of the basic bank accounts can be opened online? Also which basic bank account would anyone recommend (not Natwest) Thanks

Hi Due to a reduced income I have found my mortgage payments difficult and have £600 arrears my lender agreed to spread this over my next 3 months payments, but I have little chance of making the payment this month (due on 15th), what is the best thing for me to do? It is GE Capital and can be helpful but sometimes not. Thank you

What is the current situation regarding bank charges, unfortunately last week I just didnt have enough money to cover my direct debits and have incurred nearly £200 in bank charges from Natwest, I have limited income and now will have to find another £200. Can I do anything about this?
