I havn't paid anything into my cash ISA with First Direct this year, so I believe I am eligable to transfer it to a different provider and get a better rate.
If I select one without any transfer in/tranfer out clauses or penalties, what it to stop me transferring out to someone with a better rate (or indeed ANY rate), and then transferring ...

So in summary:
I have to find a provider that's offering transfers in, and stay with them at least a year, before I can go back to my preferred provider (First Direct).
Is that the long and short of it?

Hi, I currently have a First Direct cash e-ISA, which is unsurprisingly performing crap these days. (0.2%). It's got about 11k in it, but I havn't anything into it for this financial year.
Can I get a better deal? Am I allowed to? I know there are rules as to how much you can invest and how many ISAs you have etc.

Going on holiday to Miami in 4 weeks, and keeping a close eye on the exchange rates, as we havn't got our currency yet.

Hi, I have been talking to a friend of a friend, who is a IFA, about changing my mortgage to a better deal (just come off a 5yr fixed mortgage at 3.95%, so the move to SVR @ 7.09% is slightly painful!!!)

Hi, I currently have an Egg card, because the cashback used to be OK, however that's now gone down the pan, it's time to change.
I always pay my card in full every month, so I don't care about the APR, but a 0% transfer for 6 months would be handy, and I could use it (however, all the ones now seem to have a 3% handling free, so ...
