  • Re: URGENT - PIPEX PETITION

Hi Sarah, have you tried contacting Ben Sims? I've posted his email address somewhere on this thread (maybe about 2 or 3 weeks ago). He was very friendly and quick to sort out my particular problem. Let me know how you get on, best wishes, Sara.

Hi Sezzika, I'm posting the following information for you and everyone else who are getting nowhere: The following legal tips are from the Which? magazine which has just come through my letterbox. Hopefully, it may help. Below is written verbatim from Which?: Ending a contract: There's a legal difference between cancelling and terminating. ...

I think most broadband providers are not too good, unfortunately. It needs regulating. I hope you get a postive result. Let me know.

Try writing to Ben Sims in Customer Care. Mark it 'private & confidential' and send the letter by recorded delivery. He seems to be the only helpful person. Good luck.

  • Re: MAC code issues - name and shame!

Thanks Jason for your reply - does this mean it won't be suspended? I can just keep using my current ISP? I just wondered what my current ISP meant by 'your account will be suspended if you don't use your mac code by the expiry date'. So, you're saying I will be able to use my service still? Thanks.

Hi Jason - My mac code expires very soon and I still haven't decided on another ISP. What I want to know is, if I don't use my mac code by the expiry date, what will happen? Will my account be suspended, in which case, will I not be able to be to connect to the internet? A prompt response from you would be appreciated. Many thanks.

Sezzika - I've just read my last post to you and I've left out a couple of words - sorry, but I'm in a rush - I'm not usually rubbish at composing letters.... Bye for now, Sara.

Hi Sezzika, send the letter to the same address Pipex ask you to write into for all correspondence (I don't have Ben Sims' letter with me at the moment - sorry). I actually sent my last letter to Peter Dubens, Chairman, at his home address and he must have passed it on to Ben Sims for me. Send it recorded delivery in any case. If you wish to ...

  • Re: URGENT - PIPEX PETITION

Hi Sezzika - I would suggest that you send a recorded delivery letter to BEN SIMS at Pipex. Don't bother sending letters to the Managing Director, Chief Exec. or the Chairman - they will not reply. After much letter-writing, I was finally able to rescind my contract without any cancellation fee, so it is worth persevering. I'm sure you don't ...

Beautifulexpe - Why don't you post your direct phone number and extension number, and your full name on this site? There are many customers who are having problems with Homecall and, since you are adamant you will be able to resolve their problems, you should give them your details without hesitation. Or are you all talk and no action, just like ...
