• CREDIT REPORT HELP

I have two old credit cards showing on my experian report at an old address showing as active (0 balance etc), when they were shut a couple of years ago. If I wanted to remove these from there do I need to contact the companies directly (halifax and barclaycard)? I don't have account numbers or anything - can imagine its going to be a pain to ...

  • fist time buyers - help

Hi, Me and my partner are looking to buy our first property. However, like many people our age we have zero savings a signifiant debt. Ideally we would have liked to roll the debt into the mortgage having a one off debt over 25 years. But I know that is not possible, especially in the current market. Our situation is this: Total Gross ...

  • Re: credit report help

Thanks, Contacted experian, response as follows: 1. Because of the way the address is shown on the electoral role (no house name / number) it cannot be shown on teh online report, but any report that lenders see will confirm I am on the e.role. 2. The CIFA entry is an entry at a very old address in someone else's name - so its the ...

  • credit report help

I have obtained my credit report from both experian and equifax together with their own scores. The equifax was in the good category and experian in the poor category.....the only differences between the two were: 1. experian had more recent searches 2. experian does no have me down on the elelctoral roll - but experian does and they are ...

  • Re: loan providers

Hi Paul, Thanks for the advice. Yes my commitments have been fine. I tried to do this with Egg and they said they would cancel my credit card and convert it into a loan at 14.4% APR but wouldn't include any of my other debts as from an underwriting point of view they wouldnt be able to guarantee that I would use this to pay of the other debts ...

  • Re: default

Hi Tim, It wasn't letters, (its O2 as well not T-mobile) you log onto their website and view your bill that way and you get messages as well. Thats where the chasers were. They dont send letters or emails (only if in reply to one you send them) or make calls to you, hence why I was annoyed, if they had sent me one chase I would have paid the £8. ...

I moved from the registered address a few months after the end of my contract (and obviously didnt see the need to update them with it as I switched to T-mobile!). I didnt fancy ringing their 50p a mintue phone line so I e-mailed them yesterday to get a copy and I got the following response.... Dear Mark, Thank you for contacting O2 Customer ...

  • Re: default

Hi TIm, Thanks for your message. Do you have any advice as to what I should put on my 'note' should I just explain how I got the default and that I didnt know about it pretty much what I put in the previous post? Also, is there anything I can do to reverse the default - I never actually received a default notice - I thought they are required by ...
