Now this deal has passed it's £11.95 inc for a 512K connection with a 2 Gig cap. A 30 day contract is in operation with a Zyxel single port router (Worth around £25) thrown in for a tenner. A £50 up front connection fee is charged. A £1 per Gig surcharge is in operation for breaching the set cap.
This equates to almost £200 per first annum for a ...

Not so much links to other sites. You must provide alternative links to ISPs that aren't loaded with referral codes and inform prospective broadband customers exactly why there are two sets of links and which is which. That way, customers have a choice on whether they finance this site or not.
However, a prominent, honest and open disclaimer that ...

Every ISP will have a quota of customers who experience problems. The measure of the ISP is how big that quota is and how quickly and efficiently those problems are rectified.
Good luck with MAAF - I think you've made a wise decision in your choice of ISP.

Very sorry Jason but I didn't really see it as a question.
Anyway, to answer you - Yes, that would be a good start but it must be a prominent link that cannot be missed and the contents of the linked pages must be entirely clear about how revenue is generated. Alternative, non referral link options to ISP sales sites must also be provided giving ...

''Where we differ is that we cannot offer a comparison tool without affiliate links to ISP's....''
Could you expand upon this statement and give reasons why changing this is impossible? Don't be afraid to go into technical details. I have a very good understanding of all things web based including corporate site building.

Even the very worst ISPs have to have at least a small percentage of satisfied customers even if that is only true because those customers are not aware of the service that they SHOULD be receiving. I hasten to add that I'm not implying that this is true in your case! :)
What I am trying to say is that recommendations or otherwise must be made on ...

No problem Baffled. If you need solid, impartial and independent advice in choosing an ISP, come back here stating what it is that you require and expect from a prospective service provider.
That is of course if admin here will continue to allow my independent stance.

Ah yes, I've been waiting for some wag to point this out. It's hardly PROMINENT is it?
''The key advantage moneysupermarket.com has as a comparison service is that we are completely independent. This means we have no bias and unlike many websites do not simply show the providers we have deals with or place the paid-for products at the top of ...

Under what criteria did you search? I've had tests run with a random sample of nationwide postcode areas for all criteria and in well over 90% of cases (The figures haven't been fully collated yet). Tiscali comes up on top.
Two posts by a new user and both in reply to posts by myself criticising MS? Not very constructive replies either!
Fan or ...
