Hi Clairebrum, I suggest you try the Halifax Easycash account first. That gives you direct debits and a visa electron card so you can spend money electoncally. They have a nice online service and savings accounts you can use. Use it for a while and get yourself on the electoral register. After say after 6 months go in store and ask them for a full ...

Had a look at this website - what an obvious con. You pay a fee - they just pass on your details and if it fails they promise a refund. Or worst they advise vunerable people to "stretch the truth" (a.k.a. fraud)

Hi VISA Debit cards also allow you to go overdrawn as at the point of sale they dont always check that there are sufficient funds (smaller transactions)
VISA Electron cards do check!
Try the Halifax Easycash acount. No chq book but a VISA Electron card. They have a good ISA and savings account online that you can immediately transfer from/to.

As an English teacher I would like to add that you made so many grammar mistakes you deserve all the charges :)
eg "I have asked" is the present perfect simple. You should have used the simple past "I asked" or the past perfect simple "I had asked"
