• Re: Offset mortgages

ah thats interesting , never thought about that, again its that £50,000 per institution thing so no point in having £100,000 with them as its not all protected but could reduce mortgage by paying off £50,000 , offsetting £50,000 and having a mortage of £106,000, think thats correct ?

  • Coventry Building Society Postal Acount 3.30 % interest

Have i missed something with regard to this account? has it been withdrawn and if so what is the position for savers with money invested in it? Has its interest rate dropped? I noted that the Angle Irish Bank had dropped its easy account interset rate a week ago by 0.25 % ,was in small print in a statement i received, beware.cheers

  • Re: Inland Revenue

thanks, your right the calculations are so difficult to understand and there incredible incompetence at chasing this matter some three years and seven months later beggars belief. Will check the fact sheet and will also complain.Could have paid it by now if they were efficient and not have it raised now, cheers

Appears as though they paid my ex too much in working and child tax credits for five months unknown to me leading up to our official court separation. This matter was first raised in Nov 2005 and we believed it had been resolved as we heard ...
