    I don&#39;t have any agreements apart from the banks, searches... I think I can definitely say that was from these motorbike insurance quotes I was searching, I did about 5 or 6 at least, so these searches are derogatory on my report then? Credit ratings, how do I find that? I can see the score and they are anything from 0 to 500 I think&nbsp;

    Arrangements? and searches? this is all new to me, so if you can spare a few seconds and explain those - that be great. And yes I don&#39;t have much of a credit history just under 12 months and on the Equifax it says I&#39;ve had for 6 years?! &nbsp;and I have checked my report and I don&#39;t know whether it&#39;s hit double or not, all I know ...

    I&#39;ve just obtained my report and my score is 298 - which is very poor, however all risk signals are satisfactory (or in the green) credit aggreements are mostly excellent&nbsp;and&nbsp;everything&nbsp;else&nbsp;is&nbsp;good&nbsp;or&nbsp;excellent&nbsp;so&nbsp;why&nbsp;is&nbsp;the&nbsp;score&nbsp;very&nbsp;poor?

    hmm I&#39;ll proberly give the credit reference agencies a read, but thnks all for the advice. I suppose just getting the balance all paid back will be the best right?

    Ah I see. Well a few missed minimum monthly payments and the balance is around 1000, recently kept up with payments. What credit file? and what do you mean by wrongly applied? are you reffering to credit cards? Aorry if I seem slightly slow but I like to be in the know and this is all fairly new to me :) all the best
