I am in the exact same situation.
My policy has been active for four months already but they are to cancel the final eight (For the same reasons as above: I'm 19). This gives me the same issue as others relating to no-claims, etc.
I am also having trouble finding new quotes anywhere near the price. My next best is £250 ...
