Hi Backfoot,
The first two posts were not due to dis-illusion about forums; I haven't suddenly seen the light and come around to the idea of them. I think they are a good thing always have done. The reason I didn't answer any of your questions directly was because I was in someone else's post. It may have been a ...

Hi backfoot,
I am not one to run from a fight so to speak especially a good one but now we are back and forthing when you or I could be offering a valid opinion to someone in need. Good advice is too hard to come by when you need it the most especially since the rapid decline to virtual extinction of the Citizen Advice Bureaux. So I'll ...

Hi backfoot,
In the Re: Scottish Power post you started to advise someone then seemed to get sidetracked by Cate and had a back and forth purpose of forum debate. There was definately a few harsh comments there. I was paying just under £29.00 a month dd. This year I got a letter from them stating that from April Scottish Power was taking over and I ...

Hello Cat,
Thank you for your words of wisdom and it is refreshing to know that you have seen the light. My circumstances have changed and I am definately a lot less "gullible" but if I ever need a loan again I will be avoiding Lloyds TSB and PPI.

Hi anyone,
I took out a loan 3.5 years ago with inclusive payment protection insurance; I make one payment a month that covers both aspects. I have bought a house recently and have a good income protection/critical illness policy which is now making me question the need for the loan payment protection as well. I want to cancel the ...

Hi Tim,
Lloyds TSB, I have had loans with them in the past and currently have one. All times I was made to feel like it was a condition of the loan.

Hi Natasha,
I have had a shared ownership house for 4 years and while it got me on the property ladder I would say to anyone considering this step be very careful. Everything I know about shared ownership I learnt through trial and error much to my disadvantage. I was a first time buyer and although I do not believe that the housing ...
