Well if I headed down that road there isn't much they could do surely? I am offering to pay it back... Just thought it might be at a high number. like £200 and was panicing before of course I have everything else to pay for. Not to mention joining the student life.

I have no problems paying back the money.
But surely I can dictate the terms? Eg monthly basis according to how much I have.... They can't just make an error and not notice for 6 weeks then expect me to pay that back in one go?

That's correct.
When the money went in I just figured a family member had transfered them early. I didn't know the exact amount that was going in.
So basically - bank transfered money into account by mistake - I spent.... now they're asking for it back.
