    Hi - my son has just had the same thing happen to him. Statute is six years, have it on authority from a solicitor and another online - so no you do not owe them anything at all. Do not get into conversation or communication with any of these people. Dulsiemae

    My friend has booked and paid for a rather expensive holiday cruise via this firm. On checking the cruise line in Hong Kong it appears this ship has no cruises booked for February and I cannot find any record of this company. Any help appreciated.

    My son received a communication from Lowell Portfolio 1, it was a little obscure and so he rang them - he discovered it was regarding a Barclaycard which he had taken out in 1994 for &pound;500 (and had paid off) and they said he now owed in excess of &pound;1800.00. When he denied this and said he had paid they offered to lower it to &pound;800. ...

    Hi, I have been attempting to get a loan for some time and keep getting calls from various companies, lately I have had two call from Cash Direct - who give me an 0905 number to call and say the cost will be refunded.&nbsp; Is this a kosher company and worth ringing? DulsieMae
