There are much more cost implications to this suggestion than you first think.
Although it may reduce initial premiums, it will not help with all other insurances you will need to get. Also, you imply you are enthusiastic about all types of cars - some even at group 20. Generally this can be more expensive than insuring singularly, although it ...

Bristol: Hi. I had the first accident for about 15 years in January. I had protected NCD, so when my policy came up for renewal my insurer didn't put the price up (in fact it went down -- go figure!).
Now, I've just bought a new car and my existing insurer won't cover it as it's not garaged. ...

Admiral do a multi-car policy but I wouldn't ...

Andy,
Shark is right here. You must declare any and all convictions within a set period at the inception, throughout the life and at the renewal of the policy.
Elephant are well within their rights to charge you any additional premiums that they require based on the new risk you have presented to them. Nearly £500 is not ridiculous at ...

LOL @ the "Big Dong" comment - just count yourself lucky the BoB wasn't 'in use' when the batteries were leaking!!!
In addition to the comments here, notably by Fil M23, I think you have missed the point here. As CK has advised, you would need some form of mechanical warranty cover. Otherwise you don't stand a chance. ...
