I'ts just dawned on me that if a posting starts with a serious RECLAIM BANK CHARGES each following thread can be changed to make a mockery or worse of the original. Eg next thread I LOVE BANK CHARGES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or more seriously SCAMS AND SPAMS.

All easy access accounts I know of take two working days to pay money into a current account and three the other way. are you saying it takes two to three days longer than that? Thanks.

Compare the NS&I rates with appropriate products available on MS - SAVINGS (dark blue tab above) including easy access defaulted at £250 and ISAs. Remember tax free doesn't necessarily mean it's the best rate around.

You haven't mentioned anything about risk. Is it reasonable to say that property prices fall, interest rates continue to go up and that you have difficulty getting a tenant or getting a tenant at the asking rent?

If you have not done so already why don't you have a flick through the moneysupermarket MONEY (click dark blue top of page) SAVINGS and look at all the options - default easy access at £250 and don't forget 50's and ISAs. Roughly speaking you can get around 6.0% on online easy access accounts and up to about 6.5% on one year ...
