    hello again, update on the above subject, well I have been busy but not busy writng to british gas, however on Friday last to my surprise I receive a letter stamped with county court and thought another court judgement anyway it was letter stating judegement entered in error and register will be cancelled in this case. not a bad result

    yogift I sympathise with you, I having the exact same problem with these people, my situation is I hold a bmi card, which is basically MBNA, well like you they have increased the interest on my card. I have tried endlessly to get the interest rate reduced with no prevail,mines has risen to 29.9% -&pound;98 pm, Im livid, Its robbery.

    I received a county court judgement thanks to british gas for &pound;242 in which I paid off immediately, however they then said that I owed them a further &pound;75 which was not true. I contacted the CAB who then spoke to british gas inwhich they said I owed nothing and apologised for saying I owed &pound;75. They sent me a letter in post ...

    I have switched to alliance &amp; leicester from a nationwide flexaccount so far no problems, my wages are in on time and they have switched over all my direct debits, I did&#39;nt have to do anything.

    I have just been turned down for there platinum card with 0% for 12 months balance/puchases, want ever apply for any of there pathetic cards again. I have been offered from them 24% on balance transfer and purchases, I told them what they can do with it,and also to take me oftheir mailing list.

    Things must be bad if vanguish turn you down, alliance &amp; leicester is better by far and you&#39;ve been given another chance to improve your credit try not to mess it up.
