sorry i dont get what you mean, i have a problem trying to open a bank account with visa/mastercard, i dont want to run up a debt but want to hire a car to go france and all the hire companies want to see a mastercard/visa debt/credit card. and i want to access my money when i want and to whom i want to pay without getting into difficulties ...

hi, i have got bad credit, not bankrupt nor  ccj's but i cant open a bank account with a debt card. all i want is a mastercard/visa even a solo if i must, i dont even want an overdraft, but i keep  hitting dead ends all the time.  please can you advise me where i can go?

i went to woolwich last week to open a bank account and they said they are not taking on any more new customers as they are merging with barclays. and cos i got bad credit anyway they said in not so many words 'unlucky'!
