Thanks for the advice, i'll check out long stay polices. We used to have our insurance through insureandgo but were stolen from while we were away and they refused to pay out because we had not booked through a travel agent! any idea who else to try? i'll also give flexicover a go Oh and we are under 65 Goochdog

I have a holiday home in the Seychelles and my husband and i are booked to go out there for 6 months, we have booked our flights independently and will be living out there for the entire period. We would want travel insurance to cover us up to a year and cover us for having booked independently what kind of insurance would you suggest?
