    ??The company (bbva)passed this account to transcom. The card is no longer available in the uk. I signed a credit agreement with BBVA not Transcom. Is the APR which was applicable with bbva applicable with Transcom? Thanks

    The company folded and pulled the suite card out of the U.K.last year(2008). At the time they stated that transaction should no longer be carried out and that card holders should destroy their cards,and that repayments should continue.This I did and it is only today that I recieved this letter from B.B.V.A.about the account being taken on ...

    i think its fair to say that we have all been shafted by a loan shark company we have followed the avenue to the ombudsman some of us are able to use different methods to decrease or clear our in/flexible loans. however i feel that we can only keep updating on this forum to communicate positive or negative outcomes and hopefully help others ...

    like some other people i too have gone as far as the financial ombudsman service and if it costs cahoot,if it makes the ombudsman aware of their practice and if it makes individuals aware of their loan sharking then at least a positive gain is achieved if not a financial one thank you&nbsp;

    yeh they are definite loan sharks, as i have said before we are paying for defaulters,and bad management practise. i am now at the ombudsman level hope other people follow suit&nbsp;

    cahoot/abbey finally gave me a response stating that my apr will stay at 19.9% without answering specific questions e.g.i am a loyal customer ,no defaults,9.9 to 19.9 why....the list goes on so i have now involved the banking ombudsman , i will keep all informed as to progress

    yes it is a bad situation with abbey/cahooot they have been taken over by a spanish bank santander however i&nbsp; believe they are not being fair to the customer and having gone through all their twat i can only say that what i am doing is telling friends colleagues and forums just what they are about.
