I'm sure I read in the paper that there was a provider where their contract was 6months+ but i can't seem to find it now, and everyone else just as 12month+ contracts. Just managed to disconnect from BT today ...

Tiscali do slow you down if you download a certain amount in a month (8gig I think). However, if your on Tiscali I wouldnt worry about ever hitting that limit. If you want good value for money, no cap and a fast connection (I actually get 18mb/s down and 1mb/s up) take a look at Be*
In the past 7-8 months I have only had 4 hours of downtime one ...

Hello,
Basically my housemate successfully crashed a wrote off his car the other day. It was his fault and no other cars were involved, just a wall which survived the ordeal. As he was 3rd party hes unable to claim and wouldnt want to anyway (new driver and car was only worth £500)
