Hi.I'm Moneysupermarket's site reporter - bringing you the latest on how to save money and keeping you informed on consumer issues and finance. After a degree in politics, I took a post-graduate traineeship in newspaper journalism, qualifying as a journalist 13 years ago. Thanks to a sponsorship with The Guardian/ Manchester Evening News I won a couple of feature writing awards and went on to work for several years in London on a variety of national newspapers and magazines - including both the tabloid papers and the broadsheets. More recently, I've worked in radio including a weekly slot on BBC Manchester. As well as being a consumer and lifestyle journalist, I'm a shopper too like you and love a bargain!
