About Clare Francis

I'm the site editor at moneysupermarket.com. After completing an MA in War Studies I found my way into financial journalism (not the most obvious of career paths...). Prior to joining moneysupermarket, I was assistant money editor at The Sunday Times. I worked there for nearly five years, but had been a national newspaper journalist since 1999. My first job was at The Times where I was an editorial assistant on the Money section. From there I went to the Independent on Sunday, where I was deputy personal finance editor. I left the Independent on Sunday (or Sindy as it is known in the trade) in May 2003 and moved back to Wapping and the Murdoch empire.
