That sounds like a great deal Skywalker. I'm impressed. It's also prompted me to look at my own broadband connection which is long overdue for updating.

It would be great if you and Peyman could post a review to assist others in their decision making.

Re: Why is there no Be Forum?

I have been with Be since February 2008 and I have to say they have been great.

A few months ago they were offering a great deal to new customers, so I called them and asked for the same deal - they said yes.

    I get 8 meg broadband for £6.90 a month. And it's reliable!

Just an update on everything to do with BE Broadband.

I have been with them since 2007 and all is going well. There were some issues with network connections once which took a couple of days to sort out but their customer service people were very polite and helpful, eventhough it's hard to understand them at times (foreign accent). There is also an ongoing problem with their payment people when I changed my bank card. But otherwise the internet itself is fast and reliable.

    Thanks Graem.

I have had Be Value for nearly two weeks now and no problems to report. Fast and steady as promised.

    Watch this space.

Ooooh Goody, goody - another victim for the Shark to play with ...

I'll let my contacts know about this lot now and we'll see what happens next. [Grins the shark-like grin and sinks into lower waters]

    SHARK!

Why is there no Be Forum?

    Why isn't there?

About 2 weeks ago I was looking for a broadband network provider that doesn't come with problems. I have a BT landline with lots of problems and no customer service whatsoever. I read so many horror stories about every other provider. This was until one user here mentioned Be and how happy he was with it. I looked into it and phoned their customer service line out of curosity. They replied after a few minutes. I tried again at peak hours and the wait wasn't too long then either. I was constantly told what number I am in the queue. Last Monday I signed up to Be Value and by Friday I was connected. They give you a modem which you can either connect by ethernet or use as wireless. We now run two terminals at home. The speed is excellent and the set up was very easy.

I hope it continues this way. Keep watching this space. So far so good but I will report here if any problems arise.
