I received the same letter, it all looks very official and they even mention terms and conditions of repayment which makes it sound even more proper.

I googled them though and found loads of stories of them taking the money and doing nothing so the letter went in the bin.

DO NOT trust them or send them any money. Any 'loan' company which says you can have a loan while asking you for a broker or admin fee will, more often than not, do nothing for you. A reputable loan company will never ask for a fee upfront but will instead absorb their costs into the repayments.

Send ing money to a loan company like this is no guarantee you'll actually get a loan (despite their assurances of being 'pre-approved' - no such thing!). More often than not you'll pay the fee, get fobbed off while they 'try to find a lender for you' (rubbish), and end up having to chase them for a refund of the fee which can turn into a lengthy process. It's not worth it.
