Hi, I have just been told that my water pipe at the back of my property is causing a leak into my next doors property. Next door are on their own water system, where as mine apparently goes down the back of my house possibly feeding other houses. My inward pipe is made of plastic.But the pipe at the back of the house is possibly an old leaded one. Does my Homeserve insurance cover any of this, or could i claim on my house insurance? Or do i just have to pay myself and change my water inlet system to miss out the old pipe at the back of the house? Any body got any ideas?
