investor1:Is it possible to get a loan without Early Redemption charges, and do most of the companies have a 14 day cancellation agreement ?
Borrowing through a credit card or an overdraft is sometimes good for a short term loan because you can change the repayments each month and there is no early repayment penalty. Interest rates on some credit cards are high though.
Some finance will calculate the settlement figure by adding together all the future payments that you would otherwise make and they will even say that there is "no early repayment fee" when they do this! With personal loans, however, lenders should only charge one or two month's interest, and there is a small number of lenders who don't charge for early settlement. You should check the details before you sign up. I've just quickly looked at six lenders and five charged an early repayment fee while one didn't but the one that didn't charged an application fee.
I think that the cancellation option that you mention only refers to contracts that are covered by the distance selling regulations, that is where you arrange the product either over the phone or using the internet.
