Re: want a loan to pay of credit cards

If you keep up the payments at £250 per month and don't add anything to the cards, you will clear the debts in about 3 years. That may be your best option if you get turned down for another loan.

want a loan to pay of credit cards

Hi everyone, I am in need of some advise.

I earn approx £760 per month after tex.

I owe £6,560 spread over 5 credit cards. I am currently paying £250 per month on those and £110 per month is Interest charges!! I haven't defaulted nor missed a payment. I have gone over on a halifax c/c as they decreased my limit and my balance was £1 over as they added interest onto it after they decreased it!!

I pay by direct debit each month.

I have gone to my current bank account provider whom i have been with since sept 2006 for a 6000 loan and they said i wouldn;t be able to as I spend most of my money each month.

I also have a barclays bank account whom i have been with over 10 years but the past 3 years my pay and direct dwbits are with lloyds.

Would it be better to move all my pay and payments back to barclays?

As my bank wouldnt offer me a loan, is it likely i will get declined else where?

I done the search on the loan and it says my profile is "fair" but when do it on c/c it says "good". I honestly do not want any more c/c,

I do NOT own a house and live with my parents which i pay £300 per month.

I would just like one monthly payment and to get rid of the cards for good!

Thanks in advance and hope you all had a great easter!
