One option is to write with full details (including the time and method of cancellation and mentioning the "distance selling regulations" - assuming this is relevant). In the letter you could state that, unless the matter is settled by the end of November, you will be seeking the money through other means. Because of the current postal uncertainties, you could send the letter by recorded delivery. After your letter has arrived, you could also follow it up with a phone call.

If the matter isn't settled by the date that you give, you could contact your bank and ask them to start their procedure for disputed payments. You can give them a copy of your letter. If that doesn't work, you could use the following site to make a legal claim.

    Vodafone cancellation of contract problems

I bought a sim only 12 month deal with vodaphone. I cancelled within the 7 day return period. I was told to stop my direct debits and to throw away the sim. Since then I assumed I would get a full refund as I was told so, but I have been getting letters of cancellation fee charges for the contract. I have spoken to their customer services team, and finally thought I sorted it out, they said they had an error (someone didnt send or receive an email), so I finally asked if it was cancelled the lady said yes, I asked for written confirmation of this. I still havent received it and I am getting emails and letters saying bills are ready and they are due cancellation fees. What can I do to finally get them to give me my money back and stop bothering me with their letters. Any help would be awesome.
