    You probably need a software update which will cost you about £100 from a main dealer or quarter of that if you can find someone else to do it. Wherever you go, they might also want to charge you for the diagnostic test again (£50 at a main dealer, £20 or £30 elsewhere). Google for Vauxhall Astra Field Remedy 2115 for more information.

    Before spending any money, try turning the ignition on and pressing the buttons to lock and unlock with the key in the ignition as this will reset some of the settings.

    vauxhall astra 1.7 cdti

    hi, can any tell me if i can me if the following problem can be fixed easily or do i need to go to the experts? two fault codes- ecn161450 [wrong transponder immobiliser or key error] and ecn 161600 [CIM wrong environment indicator(command interface module)]. can't use car at moment and i know if i go to the dealers i will get fleeced. appreciate any help, thanks.
