    URGENT - PIPEX PETITION

With so many dissatisfied Pipex customers, it's about time we fought back. It is totally unfair and unethical the way Pipex are operating. OFCOM, in my personal experience, seem very non-committal towards consumers and Trading Standards are the same. The only advice they offer is to 'write to the company and give them a chance to explain' - this is so irritating and definately not helpful.

Pipex cannot be allowed to continue operating in this way. Customers should not be cancelling their service with Pipex because of poor performance, yet still be paying for the full 12 months. This is why Pipex isn't improving their service - because why should they care who leaves when they will still be getting your money?

What I would like to do is to get together as many Pipex customer names as possible and send the petition in to Watchdog. Or, another way may be for each Pipex customer to e-mail a copy of their 'message' they placed on this site to Watchdog.

I'd appreciate some ideas as I think we need to sort out Pipex once and for all. There are Pipex customers complaining on other websites too and it may be a good idea to get them involved. The more mail that Watchdog receive, the more likely they will be to investigate (hopefully anyway).

I look forward to hearing from someone who (a) has a good idea on how to go about getting customer names together for Watchdog or (b) someone who knows how to set up a website specifically for this purpose. Thanks, Sara.

    Re: URGENT - PIPEX PETITION

Wow - what a considerate reply.

I can see you have taken the time to read ALL the messages from other disgruntled customers before coming to your conclusion. What a bunch of 'dim wits' we are, eh? Fancy the rest of us not thinking of just ringing Pipex and demanding to speak to a manager or a senior. Thanks so much for enlightening us with your wisdom. I'm sure all of our problems with Pipex can now be resolved, thanks to you.

Now get off this site and don't waste my time!!! This is a forum for those with GENUINE broadband problems. There are other forums you can log into which would suit you better, i.e. Chavs UK. (PS) If you want to call anyone a dim-wit, take a look in the mirror. Honestly, some people.... Don't bother e-mailing me back either, otherwise I shall report you to the site for mis-using it.

    Re: URGENT - PIPEX PETITION

Oh for goodness sake, grow up (re. the first paragraph of your message)

I should have guessed from your attitude and use of the English language that you worked for Pipex. For your information, I have tried adamantly to speak to someone in authority and so have many others, but it hasn't got us anywhere, hence our frustration and our need to write in to the head people.

If you personally think you can sort out each of our problems, then give us your direct phone number and your proper name. (I note you are very good at calling us names, but have never given us your contact details). Maybe if we call you directly, you will stop all this nastiness and name-calling on this site.

I find this bit funny - in one of your previous messages, you suggest that if customers send a cheque for 10.00 then they can have copies of all correspondence between themselves and Pipex - ha ha ha ha ha You silly girl - why should customers have to pay a single penny? Do you mean to say that if we pay 10.00 our problems are more likely to be resolved? What would we be getting exactly? I should think that most of us already keep our own copies of e-mails, phone calls made, person we spoke to etc, This is just another way of Pipex getting us to fork out even more money. Where do Pipex Human Resources (if they have one, probably not) find you people?

    Re: URGENT - PIPEX PETITION

And you think that it's acceptable that we have to hassle Pipex in this manner before they actually get off their arses and do something. Do you think it's acceptable to treat the people who pay your wages in this way? It's almost as if you expect us to accept the fact you're shite and make allowances for it.

You pay for a service. You don't get it, you move on to someone who does. It's the rule of the jungle. Except Pipex try and stop you doing that by tying you in for a year.

It's a great system. You want to buy something and call sales and you can get through in seconds. You call customer services to complain and you wait 45 minutes and that's if you're lucky. Recently you're told that all our advisors are busy, please call back later.

Understand why people are pissed off my friend. Quite frankly we've all got better things to do than sit on the phone all day to you lot. I've spent a total of five hours stuck in a queue waiting to talk to a Pipex representative over a recent problem I've had. It's just not good enough.

    YC

Yes, I have mentioned OFCOM, CICAS, Trading Standards, Watchdog, etc. but to no avail.

Anyway, I'm off to bed now. If I do get anywhere, finally, I will be sure to post another message, in the hope it can help someone else. I hope you won't be calling any of us dim-wits from now on because we are having genuine problems with Pipex. Goodnight.

    How pathetic and so usless

Ring them and demand to speak to a manager or a senior u dim wit then you will get the stuff sorted

I wonder do Pipex know this person is abusing people ?
How silly to name the company you are a customer service agent for and then be offensive. This must be why I cannot get any sense from the people I telephone , they have all been to the same charm school.
I and probably most other people here have genuine problems with Pipex and have had absolutely no help from them whatsoever.I have demanded to speak to line manager , section manager and i have even written to the Cheif Executive and have not received a reply from any. The only thing Pioex are good for is taking their monthly subscription ( which i am loathe to cancel as i do not want a bad credit rating).
So why on Earth would we want to throw good money after bad and send in a £10 cheque to see if someone is doing the job they are paid to???A respectable company would investigate on your behalf without the need for a fee!!!!!
