    Re: URGENT Help Required

    Hi Veloxuk,

Honestly this could have been in a comedy sketch.

My father was sitting outside the local chinese takeaway, two ladies walked past the car with their takeaway into their lovly BMW and out into the back drivers side door. Despite my dad tooting the horn.

By luck he had witnesses from two of the shops next to the chinese.

What I think maybe causing the problem is the fact that the hire company of the car issued to my dad failed to pick the car up for a good 7-14 days once it had been off hired. My dad thinking he was doing the right thing and not wanting to rip anyone off contacted the 3rd party insurers to let them know the car was still sitting out the back despite it being off hired.

Thank you for reading my post and leaving a comment

    Jules

    Re: URGENT Help Required

Cant they go through the unisured loss mib? Although car parks are no right of way zones. thats why you never get insured by tesco and shop at tesco as if you get bumped they dont like to payup

    Jules82:

My father is insured with More Than and despite requesting one of their personal account handlers that they are advertising at the moment he is still being passed to an Indian call centre. My father has hearing problems and finds it hard to hear what people are saying at the best of times. He doesn't want to be tagged as a racist (which he most certainly is not) but he can understand very little of what is being said to him and vice versa.

My father was in a non-blameworthy accident whereby a car reversed out and hit the back passengerside of his motor (he was parked in a car park and in the car at the time). His insurance is now due to be renewed at the end of next month and has just found out that

He now only has 1yrs no claims

His insurance is now more than £700

When he queried this with the call centre he was told that this was down to them being unable to get the money from the 3rd party insurers and that he should call some number.

My father has told them that he will be calling no number as that is what he pays his insurance for.

Can you please give us some advice as to where to go from here and who we can complain too as surely this is by no way supposed to be down to my dad if it was non-blameworthy on his part.

Thank you for your time and help

    Hi Jules82,

If you could you drop me an email at the address below with your contact and policy details, I'll ask our insurance team to speak to More Than and see if we can arrange for them to get in touch and resolve this issue for you.
