Re: Upgrade or new contract(T Mobile)

Yes,they also wanted to offer me similar deals.

In general I think TM is very good be it customer service or other bits.

Never have problems with them.Never see bad remarks or complaints about them here.

But I can see a lot of screams and complaints about 3, O2, vOdafone etc.

So I would like to stay with them.

    Cheers

Re: Upgrade or new contract(T Mobile)

    Hi Jim,

    Thanks again for the reply.

I ended up going into the T Mobile shop because I wasn't sure what to go for. The guy I spoke to was really helpful and I ended up with the same deal(Flex 35 + w'n'w for £20) but he gave me a much better choice of phones - so I've ended up with a Samsung F480 Tocca.

He said it was a pretty good phone - doesn't matter too much as it'll probably end up as a backup for my N95 - but it looks cute which is always a bonus!

Thanks again for the help, if I hadn't told them about the deal with 3 I probably wouldn't have had £15 off my bill!

Re: Upgrade or new contract(T Mobile)

    Hi Jane,

That does sound like a good deal - as a guide I pay £23 per month with 3 which gives me a 'spend' of £180pm - but doesn't include any equivalent to 'web&walk' - so that does sound cracking.

Re handsets, I guess it depends on what you're looking for - i'd probably lean toward the N73 or the W910i as good all-rounders - although depending on what you didn't like with the N95 you might find the N73 a little too similar - it's basically 2 generations before the N95 but the same product line.

The 6500 will likely give you the best battery life of the lot but might be a little poor in terms of features - and I guess the MDA is probably going the other way.

Close your eyes and stick a pin in a page!

    Jim

Re: Upgrade or new contract(T Mobile)

    Hi,

Wonder if you guys could be helpful again please? I contacted TMobile to let them know I was planning on leaving and they offered to give me the same Flex 35 contract with web'n'walk for £20 plus a free upgrade.

Now I feel it would be daft to turn this down as I've always had a good service from them - my only question is which phone to take? I have the option of the Nokia 6500 Classic, Nokia N73, Sony Ericsson W910i or TMobile MDA Compact III. Any suggestions?

    Many thanks(again!)

    Hi Jim,

Thanks for the quick reply! I'm going to go have a wee look at their website and see if anything takes my fancy :) If I manage to do a deal with them I'll let you know.

    Thanks again!

Re: Upgrade or new contract(T Mobile)

    Hi Jane,

3 Mobile offer a contract called the 'personal' plan - they don't advertise it but if you ask for it they will offer - it's based on the exact Tmobile package but usually priced a little less (push for a discount) - have a look at their handsets and see if anything you like... :)

    Best,

    Jim

    Upgrade or new contract(T Mobile)

    Hi,

If anyone could give me some advice it would be much apreciated.

I currently have a N95(8gb) on T Mobile Flex 35(12 months). I have just realised it's time for me to upgrade and I'm really not sure which phone to go with or if getting a new contract may be better.

Flex 35 suits my needs perfectly I never usually have any credit left at the end of the month, but I also never end up having to pay for calls. I would consider changing network if there is another package like Flex 35 on a 12 month contract - so far I haven't found one!

I also really like my N95 however it has started playing up recently(screen crashing, turning itself off, etc). Is there another phone that has the same features and benefits of the N95, that isn't the N95?

As I've already said, any help that can be given is much appreciated as I'm really not very sure what is best to do.
