I have just changed mobile phone providers from Vodafone to T-mobile and need my Nokia E90 unlocked
I have searched the net for a free unlock - but no luck for this particular model
I then found UNLOCKS.CO.UK who quoted £17 to supply me with a code - are they reputable ?
Secondly - why should it take them (up to) a week to supply this code ?
According to an email received today from them "As specified during the order process on our website, customers should allow up to 7 working days for delivery of an unlock code. Codes for the Nokia E90 are usually delivered within 24 hours, however it can take a little longer if the server is busy. Your unlock code will be delivered as soon as it is available."
What is this "Server" mentioned ?
How do they obtain these codes ?
In the meantime - I have discovered that Vodafone are "supposed" to provide unlock codes for free - as long as you have had the phone on their contract for at least 12 months .....
