Try Aviva via a broker, who should be able to arrange cover for a non uk resident. You won't have any NCD on a second car, so you will be starting from scratch on it, which will make it rather expensive.
As an alternative, have you looked into your daughter Insuring a second car and registering it in her name with DVLA . This might make life a bit easier in regard to issues with DVLA (tax disc, advising of SORN etc) and also her arranging MOT's/servicing when due. You can be added as named drivers on the policy, so you can drive it when you are over and your daughter can use it if required, which will help to keep it in running order.
