    Travel Insurance over 65

Insurefor.com say "All policies cover persons up to 79 years of age" but when I input a quote request (for ages 63/65), their policies are not shown.  Anyone know why?

They may advertise that they cover persons up to 79 years of age but there may still be limits based on duration and destination i.e. they may cover 1 week in Europe but not 3 months in America. What travel plans did you input when trying to obtain a quote?

Thanks BigFC.  We simply want a worldwide annual policy.

Their own website doesn't seem to like us either!

It does seem that they appear to limit Worldwide AMT cover to under 65's only. There are quite a few companies out there that may cover you, the bigger names like Age Concern, SAGA, Mark and Spencers etc or a few of the independants like Insure and Go and Flexicover (who appear to fair quite well on this site).

    Hope this helps.

I think you're right.  We've ended up with an 'Essential' (AXA) policy.  Seems just as good.  Thanks for your responses.
