    Travel insurance for kilt?

I'm flying from the UK to Ireland next week and would like to insure my kilt.

The insurance offered by easyjet had an individual item limit of £100 (and looked expensive). Are there any that would have a £250 limit (or more)?

Also could I say that different parts of the outfit were separate, eg jacket £200, kilt £250 etc or would they only pay out the maximum for one item, claiming it was all one 'item'?

    Thanks

    Re: Travel insurance for kilt?

    Hi Lumo

Try our comparison engine and look for a policy that offers an individual item limit of £250, there are many there, also a lot cheaper than the insurance offered by the airline your flying with.

In answer to your other question, yes you should be able to state that they are different parts of the outfit, as if the kilt got damaged and the jacket was ok you would only claim for the kilt, and visa versa.

    Hope this helps
