    No - afraid the ISA allowances die with the person - can't even be transferred between husband and wife. All the accounts will be closed, once the Banks/Building Societies are informed of the death.

    Transferring Cash ISA's from deceased father to son - is this possible?

    My father in law died recently leaving £30,000 in Cash ISA's to my husband. Is my husband able to have these transferred to his name, if they are in years for which he does not already hold a cash ISA? Is there any way to do this please?
