    I'm afraid Huckster is correct. Even if you could have the chance to appeal it I'm sure the magistrate would ask "Did you take the road conditions into account, or were you travelling too fast for the conditions anyway?"

    No. If you have already paid the fine and had your licence endorsed with 3 points it is too late. You would have had the chance to appeal against this, when the magistrate sent you the form.

    You could have requested a hearing and given your side of the story. However, it would have been unlikely that you would have succeeded without evidence to support your case and you would have incurred additional fees.

    Traffic Signal Light offence

    Hi, I was driving down a dual carriage way on a rainy day and when i approached the traffic lights, they changed to red very fast so I breaked fast and due to breaking distance my car went over the line but i did not cross the junction

    I was given 3 points and £60 fine

    Can I appeal
