When I first went with Tiscali I was in praise of them, I got a good deal, was told that my line was not with BT, just with Tiscali and the phone line charge was free, does anyone know if Tiscali are charging there customers, with what they have to pay BT for there line or minutes, I feel totally mislead, especially when they said they had nothing to do with BT. I have noticed lots of mobile numbers I am being charged for that are not mine, if I ring them all it will cost me a fortune. Can anyone explain to me if there is scam involving this. I saw something on Watchdog saying that a lot of customers were being charged for phone calls they did not make. They have also told me that mobile phone calls cost 12p a minute but are charging 21.9 for the 03 network, they have some sort of chart for this surely if you are going to be charged these astronimical rates including 0845 and 0870 and BT have charged for some of these are they not supposed to let you know the charges before you make the call, sometimes someone will come on the phone and ask you if you still want to phone that number at a rate of whatever. They have charged me a fortune for redialling 63p for a local call and 1.23 for a mobile. And for Directory Enquires I know are expensive I found a cheaper one, who I never asked them to put me through because this cost more money they were 50p a minute and they have charged me double this. I advise anyone who is thinking of going with Tiscali to look into them very carefully what they are promising may not be what they are offering.
