You've made a very valid point, the majority of posters on the forum and who are giving customer reviews have usually had a negative experience of their ISP. This can distort the view of that ISP amongst consumers since the majority who are happy don't post on the forum, need to switch or post customer reviews.

However, in our view one unsatisfied customer is one too many, and if several consumers all complain at once about the same provider it gets noticed.

In effect the small vocal minority who complain keeps the ISP's in check and alerted to customer service issues so even though there is a lot of negative comment in relation to providers we think we are offering a space for consumers to air their views and share experiences which is an invaluable tool for consumer empowerment.

Hi new to the site, I spend about 40 hours a week on the internet, download tons of music, videos etc and I have been using Tiscali for the last 5 years upgrading when I could afford to from dial-up to free evenings and w/ends to broadband and now to broadband and phone line package each time I have had no problems whatsoever, each transfer was either on the exact date or maybe 1 day later.
I reckon with the many thousands of transfers each month some may go astray but I imagine the vast majority of satisfied customers don`t need to got to sites like this one to voice their opinion as they are just getting on with their internet needs it is only when something goes wrong they seek to find answers. I have looked at every ISP on this site and every one has loads of complaints so in my opinion "You takes your chance and with numbers of satisfied customers outweighing bad experiences on your side go with the best Value for Money as I do with Tiscali".

Just a footnote Tiscali lets me use Linux as my operating system as I hate Windows rubbish and not all ISP`s do, some even say "What is Linux" They shouldn`t be seen anywhere near a computer never mind a "Helpdesk"
