Have just phoned up Sony, as my Playstation 2 died on me at the weekend.
I have only had it since September last year and to be fair, I don't even use it that much. Being a bloke, I can't find the receipt and therefore was expecting a proper fight to get it fixed!
The guy at Sony was excellent, he checked the serial number and then asked me if I was available to take delivery of a new PS2 tomorrow, as he could dispatch one right now, under the warranty. Brilliant!
All I have to do is give the delivery guy my knackered one and it's power lead!
Carlsberg don't do games consoles........
